Monika Bravo is a multidisciplinary artist, empirical polymath, writer, evolutionary astrologer, Bitcoiner, polyglot, and freedom maximalist. Her philosophy integrates Eastern, ancestral, and cosmological traditions with psychological inquiry, and Austrian economics—emphasizing liberty, value, and self-worth in service of both individual and collective evolution. She comes from a lineage of women pedagogues who taught her that knowledge carries responsibility and she should transmit to others as an embodied experience. Her work has been exhibited internationally. Since 2010, she has dedicated herself primarily to public art, creating permanent commissions for major institutions, including Ouranos, Above Us Only Sky (MTA Arts & Design, Grand Central Madison, NYC); Arcana (Interdisciplinary Engineering Building, University of Washington, Seattle); Vida (Vida Public Health Building, San Antonio); An Interval of Time (Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin); Duration (Prospect Avenue Subway Station, NYC, MTA Arts & Design); LIMINAL (St. Paul International Airport, Terminal 1, Gate 17); and Unus Mundus (East Boston Police Headquarters), among others. She is the author of The Nature of My Reality (2024), tracing her journey from disempowerment to self-awareness through the study of economic systems, banking history, and authority. Currently writing her second book, The Art of Synthesis: The Architecture of Value, a journey across time with visionaries whose dialogues shape her inquiry into value and consciousness. She also writes I Am Optimist on Substack, where she explores Bitcoin, philosophy, and cultural cycles. Bravo represented the Vatican Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale and was awarded the 2021 Civitella Ranieri Fellowship."
